Ryan Contreras

Ryan is an athletic middle-infielder, contact hitter and 3-time Varsity letterman at Henry M. Jackson HS in Mill Creek, WA. In the classroom, Ryan maintains a 3.7 GPA.

2020 HS Season cancelled due to CV-19. He'll play for the 18U Premier League Kirkland Merchants this summer.

HIGH SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS:

2019 HS Season: 5th on team in BA .281/.388 OBP/ .704 OPS, 2 2B, 11 RBI, 8R, 7 BB in 21 GP. 2nd on team with .877 contact rate, 6th in QAB (27).

2018 HS season: Ryan played in 11 JV games, batted .433 with 5 XBH, 6 RBI and 9 runs scored. On the Varsity squad, he saw action in 12 games, batted .267 and scored 6 runs.

SUMMER BALL

During his 2019 season with the 18U Merchants Elite team, Ryan led his team w/ a .415 BA, 39 hits, 12 XBH, 25 runs, 2nd in RBI w/ 29, while striking out 6 times in 113 plate appearances. He held a .934 FPCT in the field w/ 6 errors in 91 chances.

In the 2018 summer season, he batted .305 for the 16U Kirkland Merchants, 4th in hits (39/128); 4th in RS (28) and 5th in RBI (29) batting. Ryan had a .964 FPCT, 4 errors in 111 TC and converted 10 DPs while playing SS, 2B and 3B.

Ryan's team was the runner up in the Seattle Elite League Championship Series in 2018; placed 1st in the 2018 Seattle Elite Wood Bat Tourney and runner up at the WCP Summer Slam Tourney in Vancouver/Hillsboro.
