Baseball Northwest's goal is to mentor and develop Northwest players of all abilities and provide them unique exposure opportunities in front of college coaches and professional scouts. Everything we do is about preparing the player for their next level of baseball. No other organization in the Northwest incorporates all the key aspects of helping its players succeed - recruiting video, providing player contact information to coaches/scouts, instructional camps, and showcase tournaments. We also hold exclusive Northwest bids to some of the top national tournaments.
The process begins by our evaluation of players at our specially-designed Prospect Evaluation Camps which take place all over the Northwest during May, June and July. These Prospect Evaluation Camps include a pro-style workout including batting practice, infield/outfield, catching, pitching, and a hustle scrimmage; Baseball Athletic Rating testing; and Sports Video Northwest video clips of each individual player. By attending a Prospect Evaluation Camp, a player will have his video clips, BAR score, and metrics from the workout uploaded to his individual Baseball Northwest player profile that can be used as a recruiting tool.
Based on our evaluations, we invite the top Northwest players to our annual Northwest Championships held in August in Vancouver, WA. More college coaches and professional scouts attend the Northwest Championship than any other high school showcase event in the Northwest.
Top Northwest players also have opportunities to play on hand-selected teams that represent Baseball Northwest nationally at tournaments like the Arizona Fall Classic. Baseball Northwest has the exclusive Northwest bid to the following tournaments:
- Arizona Fall Classic - Peoria, AZ
- Perfect Game World Series - Sanford, FL - 15U | Phoenix, AZ - 17U
- Perfect Game WWBA World Championship - Jupiter, FL - 18U
The best way to get involved is to have your high school or summer coach email us a recommendation for you. This will ensure an invite to our Prospect Evaluation Camps where we can evaluate your abilities as a player and provide you tools for how to play at the next level of baseball.
