The thing I enjoyed the most about Baseball Northwest was I was able to see my progression as an athlete. My first year I didn't really stand out at all but I worked as hard as I could and the next time I was there I stood out big time. I saw that my hard work stood out and that if I kept working I would do amazing things. Luckily enough the coaches at Baseball Northwest gave me the opportunity to go and play at the WWBA world championship. I had a great time meeting and playing with other amazing players. It was here where I got to play against incredible competition where many scouts got to see me. One of those scouts just happened to be there to a school I had talked to over the summer, Mike Brown. He saw me pitch in that game at a high level and called me later that night to get me on a visit that led me to playing at the University of Utah. I'd highly recommend players who get the opportunity to go and play with Baseball Northwest to utilize it and to go and play with confidence.
