I enjoy attending Baseball Northwest events and watching Baseball Northwest teams play for a couple different reasons. First of all, it’s the quality of the players. Baseball Northwest’s premier summer events, the Junior and Senior Northwest Championships, always bring in some of the best players from all over the Northwest – not just Washington and Oregon, but Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, British Columbia, and Alaska. So, not only is it an essential event for me as a scout responsible for all those states, but it’s an excellent opportunity for the players who are able to show off their skills in front of college coaches and other MLB scouts. On top of that, the staff at Baseball Northwest is always so friendly and helpful. The family atmosphere of the business really shines through in the way everyone is treated, and the way things operate.
