Player Bio
Grant Yost is a sophomore at Gonzaga Prep high school in Spokane Washington. Grant completed his 2023 varsity season and as the leadoff hitter led his team in AVG, SLG, OPS, Hits, RBIs, and runs scored. He was voted Gonzaga Prep's most valuable offensive player for the 2023 season. Grant also pitched 14 innings as a closer recording a 0.00 era with 15 strikeouts and only 2 walks. At the end of the season Grant earned 1st team honors as an outfielder for the Greater Spokane League. This honor is voted on by the coaches of the GSL. Grant plays for Gonzaga Preps AAA legion team and the Spokane Expos 2024 summer team.
