At what age did you decide you wanted to play baseball beyond high school?

I think that I always wanted to play baseball past highschool but I didn’t know if I could or what that process was like so for me the want was always there just because I loved playing baseball so much but it wasn’t until I was probably a sophomore in highschool that I figured out what it meant to play past highschool and it became a reality.

At what point did you commit to the college you would play baseball at? What made you feel like that was the right time to do so? How did you decide that school was the best fit for you? Did you feel pressure(s) along the way?

I was a sophomore in highschool and I had committed to Seattle University actually because I thought that I was never going to get an offer higher than that one and so I took it I was worried that if I didn’t take the offer I would be left behind, it was definitely too early for someone like me who was still growing and getting better I should I’ve kept my options open but when they offered me I felt obligated to give them an answer and it was hard to turn down a d1 offer at the time. In my heart I knew that Oregon State was the school that I wanted to go to. It was just far enough away from home that I could get the college experience of living on my own but not too far from my family and it was my dream school since I was young.

What has been your favorite part of your baseball career so far?

The guys I’ve met and experiences that I have gotten along the way. These are gonna be some of my best friends later in my life and I’ll always reflect on this time In my life.

What did you learn about the recruiting process by going through it? What did you wish you had known sooner?

I wish that I had known that I didn’t need to give an answer right away to someone I get pressured by the opportunity that I was given not by one single person but just because I was worried I wouldn’t get anything better, but I wish I would’ve bet on myself and known that I could do better.

What would be something you'd want a player who follows in your footsteps to know or consider?

I think someone that follows me can see and learn that the process is not easy and following my progress and my career stuff happens that you can’t control and the only thing that you can do is control the controllables and keep pushing.
