When I think about my future, baseball is in it. Baseball is my passion, I live for it and I find great meaning in the game. The unpredictability of baseball and the history of the game has made an impact on this world. Baseball will humble you when you need to be humbled, it will reward you when you deserve it. Baseball makes you work for an accomplishment when you really want it, and I am willing to do the work. I have grown up playing baseball and I have grown as a person because of it. Mentally, emotionally, how to handle situations, and how to act. I have learned how to respect my elders and how to respect the game in every way. I have learned how to be coached and how to retain information that my coaches give me. When I put on my uniform, tie my cleats, pull my hat onto my head, put on my glove and head out to the mound - I know that there is no other feeling that will ever replace my love for the game of baseball. I know that whenever I step on that field during college, however I can contribute to my team, I will perform with my absolute peak effort. It is incredibly hard to be a successful baseball player, but I will do whatever it takes to put my name on the back of a college jersey. I am committed to delivering my top performance for a college team in any role that my coach assigns. I want to contribute to championships and enjoy my college career as a student athlete.
