Baseball has been my passion since I first picked up my plastic playschool bat to when I stepped onto the diamond at 5, to now going into my senior year at La Salle. As fate would have it, my initials happen to be MLB, which feels like destiny given my love for the game. I have played on the Varsity team starting as a Freshman and will continue into my Senior year. I've had the privilege of playing multiple positions—OF, SS, 3B, and RHP—each contributing to my growth and versatility as a player.

I've earned recognition for my contributions both on the mound and at the plate. As a sophomore, I was honored with an Honorable Mention for Pitcher, a testament to the hard work and dedication I put into perfecting my craft. Building on that foundation, I secured a spot on the 2nd Team for both Pitcher and Outfield during my junior year, demonstrating my ability to excel in multiple roles.

On the pitcher's mound, I finished my junior season with impressive stats, boasting a remarkable 1.6 ERA and a stellar 0.914 WHIP in league play. My consistency was highlighted by a remarkable stretch of five complete games, including standout performances against tough opponents like Wilsonville and Nelson. One of the highlights of my pitching career was a complete game shutout against Nelson, showcasing my ability to dominate on the mound when it mattered most.

Not just a pitcher, I also made significant contributions at the plate. In league play, I maintained a solid .314 batting average, delivering key hits and contributing to our team's success. One of my memorable moments at the plate was smashing a home run in a pivotal win over Hillsboro, a game that underscored my ability to perform under pressure and help lead my team to victory.

This summer was a pivotal chapter in my baseball journey, where I dedicated myself to both club ball and representing La Salle High School. Defining moments have been achieving a no-hit game and facing 108 batters without conceding an earned run.

Beyond statistics and accolades, baseball has taught me invaluable lessons in myself, moments of adversity that tested my resilience and determination. Whether it was working through a slump at the plate or refining my pitching mechanics after a tough outing, each challenge became an opportunity to grow stronger and more disciplined, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. Being a part of club and the varsity teams have shaped me into the player and person I am today, instilling in me a love for the game and a drive to continually improve.

Looking ahead, I am eager to continue my baseball journey at the collegiate level, where I aim to contribute my skills and passion to a competitive program while pursuing my academic and future goals.  I am grateful for my family who have helped, the memories made, the challenges overcome, and the lifelong friendships forged on and off the field.

Baseball isn't just a game for me—it's a lifelong commitment to the pursuit of excellence.
