The 2025 Northwest Championships will take place on August 7-10 in Centralia, Wash., bringing the Northwest’s largest regional showcase of its kind back to Fort Borst Park (and Centralia College) in the heart of the Evergreen State.
Hardly an unfamiliar location, Centralia served as the home of the Northwest Championships for eight years from 2012-19, and will once again host the event in 2025 on the heels of sweeping facility renovations and improvements.
With four turf diamonds and an additional turf-infield stadium all located at one central location, the complex provides an opportunity for showcase participants to receive unprecedented exposure to college coaches and scouts.
“We are looking forward to heading back to Centralia,” said director of operations Josh Warner. “We are so grateful for the hospitality of the coaches in Vancouver and the beautiful fields there, but Centralia's offering of four turf fields all to be viewed at the same time is hard to beat. With so much Northwest Championships history in Centralia, it just feels right to be going back.”
This will be the 27th year of the Northwest Championships, which brings together hundreds of the region’s top athletes to compete against each other. Additionally, it draws the largest collection of college recruiters and professional scouts to observe a Northwest amateur baseball event, and these coaches and scouts will now have the ability to see more players at the event with the new host location in Centralia.
The tournament includes Baseball Northwest hand-selected teams from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Utah, beginning on Thursday, August 7. Each team has a four-game guarantee, with games beginning on Thursday morning and continuing through placement games on Sunday, August 10. All teams will go through Baseball Athletic Rating (BAR) testing around their game schedule on Thursday.
The event is invite-only, and invitations will be sent throughout the summer. For a look at the action from last year, check out the video below.
