The long-standing Northwest Championship Tournament is the largest event of its kind in the Northwest region, drawing hundreds of the region’s top athletes to compete against each other. It also draws the largest collection of college recruiters and professional scouts to observe a Northwest amateur baseball event. The 22nd annual 2020 Northwest Championship Tournament for the classes of 2021-2024 will be held September 4th-7th at U.S. Cellular Community Park in Medford, OR.

This tournament includes Baseball Northwest hand-selected teams from Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

2020 Northwest Championships Program (Team Rosters)

The tournament begins on Friday, September 4th. Each team has a 4 game guarantee, with games beginning on Friday morning and continuing through placing games on Monday, September 7th.  All teams will go through BAR testing around their game schedule on Friday.

Video/Scouting Coverage

We are excited to be providing live stream and social media coverage throughout the Northwest Championships. This will help to promote players in this event. Players will also have access to video after the event.

Player Evaluation

Baseball Northwest’s 30 teams are selected for this tournament from regional Prospect Evaluation Camps. Players are invited to the June, July, and August 1-day Prospect Evaluation Camps by recommendations from professional scouts, college coaches, selected high school coaches, and Baseball Northwest personnel. High school and summer coaches are sent recommendation forms to nominate players for consideration. Players can nominate themselves for consideration by emailing Baseball Northwest through the web site.

Invitations

Invitations for the Northwest Championship Tournament will be sent starting in August. You must receive an invitation to register for this event.
