Baseball Northwest Alumni Make MLB All-Star Game

Three Baseball Northwest alumni have been selected to the MLB All-Star Game on July 13th at Anaheim, Ca. Tim Lincecum, San Francisco Giants right-handed pitcher, Jon Lester, Boston Red Sox left-handed pitcher, and Evan Meek, Pittsburgh Pirates right-handed pitcher will represent the northwest as announced by major league baseball. Lincecum is a former Univ. of Washington Husky, and Liberty HS (Wa.) pitcher, Lester is signed out of Bellarmine Prep (Wa.), and Meek went to Bellevue CC (Wa.), and Inglemoor HS (Wa.).  All are former Northwest Championship Tournament performers and well as other BBNW teams. There are 28 current or former major league players among the Baseball Northwest alumni along with nearly 150 playing currently playing professional baseball.
